The term swimming camp originally referred to structured training programmes for more advanced swimmers looking to improve their personal best times through high-volume training — typically 4 to 5 hours a day, Monday to Friday during school holidays. Today, many parents also use the term “swimming camp” to describe any structured, planned daily swimming programme during the school holiday season.
Our Summer 2026 1:1 crash course follows exactly that same concept — daily weekday sessions running Monday to Friday throughout the summer holidays. The key difference is session length. Our crash courses run for 30 minutes per day, making them suitable for all levels — from the most complete beginner child or adult who has never been in a pool, right through to more advanced swimmers who want to sharpen technique and improve their times.
Whether you have been searching for a swimming camp in London or a summer swimming crash course, our 5-day intensive 1:1 programme is designed to deliver real, measurable progress for your child regardless of their current ability.
We have limited places available across two South West London venues for Summer 2026. Each course runs Monday to Friday — five consecutive days of dedicated 1:1 coaching for children aged 3–16.
Available time slots: 9.00–9.30am | 9.30–10.00am | 10.00–10.30am

In a typical group swimming lesson with 6 to 10 children, your child may receive just 3 to 5 minutes of direct instructor attention per session. In our 1:1 crash course format, every single minute of every session is focused entirely on your child. No waiting. No watching others. No wasted pool time.
Over five consecutive days, that adds up to 150 minutes of pure 1:1 teaching and coaching — the equivalent of months of weekly group lessons compressed into a single week. And, in two back to back weeks of summer crash courses you can squeeze an equvalant of almost one term of swimming lessons. Replacing weekly chorus with crash courses.

With at least seven weeks of school holidays stretching ahead, summer is the perfect window for intensive swimming progress. Most families are already planning days out, holidays and activities . A 30-minute or 60-minutes daily crash course fits easily around everything else, leaving the rest of the day completely free.
Our crash courses run for just 30 minutes each morning. You can drop your child off, head to a coffee shop, and be back before the session ends. The rest of the day is yours.
Five consecutive days of 1:1 coaching consistently produces more progress than an entire term of weekly group lessons.
We run our Summer 2026 1:1 crash courses at two convenient locations, making us easily accessible for families across Wimbledon, Wandsworth, Putney, Fulham, Clapham and Kingston:
“Five days of 1:1 crash course coaching gives children the kind of progress that would otherwise take an entire term of weekly group lessons to achieve.”
According to research by Swim England, a significant proportion of children leave primary school unable to swim — and it is those children who are most at risk near water during summer holidays. Whether your child is heading to the beach, a lake or a hotel pool this summer, knowing how to swim is not just fun — it is a vital safety skill.
A 1:1 summer crash course is the fastest and most effective way to give your child that foundation before the holidays begin.
Places are limited at both venues. Secure your child’s 1:1 spot for Summer 2026 now — Wimbledon College (July) or Aspire Centre Southfields (July, August).
