In 2017 and 2018, we were really proud to be nominated for several prestigious awards by several organisations and associations including What’s on 4 Kid’s. What’s On 4 kids is one of the major children activity listing platforms in the country.
The What’s On 4 Kids panel have put Blue Wave Swim School forward for two awards:
These awards were brought to people in association with the Swimming Teachers’ Association (STA).
Local awards are there to celebrate the very best of local businesses. In Southwest London, Merton and Wandsworth are very popular boroughs with young families. Merton and Wandsworth Chambers, each have their own Business Awards. Their award galas are the showpiece events in the local business calendar, highlighting the role of business in delivering growth and prosperity in the local communities and families.
We were the finalist for awards both in Merton and Wandsworth in 2018 in the below categories:
Best local enterprising business
Healthy workplace
Best Marketing and Social media.
We were the only swim school in the area of Merton and Wandsworth to be nominated and the finalist for these awards.
With over 3.19 billion social media users worldwide in 2018, social media has become an important communication channel for all businesses. It was really great to be recognise for the effort we daily put into keeping our business’s social media channels. Our aim is to stay transparent and communicative with our community.
We put plenty of fresh content on the different social media platform including our Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Youtube, LinkedIn and Pinterest to reach out to our audience-authenticity in our posts is a must.
The Best Merton Business Awards are the annual awards for businesses operating in London borough of Merton in southwest London. Our lovely swim school was a finalist in two categories in Merton Chamber of Commerce. All of us at Blue Wave Swim were so thrilled to be recognised for doing a good job by just being a finalist. When we found out we had reached the final for ‘Healthy Workplace’, in Merton, we were double excited. Why? Because this is at the heart of what we do since the beginning. It is so important to prove a healthy environment both for our staff and our swimmers on the regular basis.
We are so proud of what we do.
